We’re all going to be refreshing the Sydney Morning Herald website’s front page until we hear that all is well with the young Mosman woman who reportedly had a bomb strapped around her neck by a man wearing a balaclava. It’s been nine hours so far, as I write this. Herald coverage here; the most solid reportage is at The Guardian here.

The police aren’t going to be holding any more press conferences until it’s resolved, and fair enough. Reports state that the young woman is very calm, and I hope she knows that everyone’s thoughts are with her.

Edited, not long past midnight, to add: She’s okay!

ETA: More from the Herald.
